Last week, the head of Armani Cosmetics, Tim Quinn, landed at Sak’s at Bal Harbour Shops for a charity event benefitting Dress for Success. I was lucky enough to drop in and experience he and his team’s expertise.
Switching between Quinn and Bia, an adorable member of the Armani team, I got a makeover that made me rethink my love affair with powder coverups and foundations. I explained the hypersensitivity of my skin to Bia. And she introduced me to several new products, including Face Fabric, a tinted moisturizer with SPF that she says is perfect for moms on the go. Hi, that’s me.
Quinn himself made my lashes pop with Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara, and Bia gave my cheeks a kiss of color with Bronze Mania in #5. Last but not least, the pout. Luckily, Bia is as obsessed with red lips as I am. She calls herself a red connoisseur, a title I won’t debate. She picked out a shade from Rouge d’ Armani, Rouge 403, that was perfection. Plus, the lipstick has a built-in magnet so the lid never leaves the tube, preventing unforeseen chaos in your handbag. Applied with Smooth Silk Lip Pencil in #3, of course.
I left Sak’s feeling radiant. It must be the Luminous Silk Foundation causing the glow.
